Many who are on their self-love journey are dealing with a mother wound or a father wound. For the sake of this episode, I define these wounds as the emotional or psychological hurt, pain, or trauma that we carry with us because of our relationship with these two foundational figures. 

In this bonus episode, I wanted to share some affirmations today that will help anyone deal with a mother wound. I will speak these affirmations as if I were a loving mother saying these words to you. You can interchange mother with father if that feels right.

  2. I appreciate you.
  3. I accept your for who you are.
  4. I am proud of you.
  5. No matter what you do, I will always love you.
  6. You are worthy of my love.
  7. You are worthy of God’s love.
  8. Nothing you can do or say will stop me from loving you.
  9. You will always be in my heart.
  10. Please forgive me for any heart I may have caused you.
  11. You are safe in my arms. 
  12. I am here to protect you.
  13. I am sorry.
  14. You are the best of the best.
  15. Everything you need is already inside of you.
