Affirmations For Reparenting: Healing The Mother Wound
S4E22 - Affirmations For Reparenting: Healing The Mother Wound (Spoken As Your Mother)
In this bonus podcast episode, you will hear a collection of spoken affirmations that honor the healing of the mother’s wound. The mother wound is a term used to describe the pain, hurt, and trauma that can be carried in our lives from our relationship with our mothers. Through these affirmations, we will explore the power of self-love, acceptance, and healing, which can help to restore our relationship with our mothers, ourselves, and God. So, sit back, relax, and let the healing begin!
Many who are on their self-love journey are dealing with a mother wound or a father wound. For the sake of this episode, I define these wounds as the emotional or psychological hurt, pain, or trauma that we carry with us because of our relationship with these two foundational figures.
In this bonus episode, I wanted to share some affirmations today that will help anyone deal with a mother wound. I will speak these affirmations as if I were a loving mother saying these words to you. You can interchange mother with father if that feels right.
In Chapter 8 of my book The Five Stages of Self Love, I write about what re-parenting is and is not.
