3 Ways To Challenge Your Belief System

3 Ways To Change Your Belief System by Currently Meditating

You can change your beliefs. Is it possible to change your belief system by challenging your current beliefs through self awareness? Taking time to assess whether your beliefs are serving the highest self is essential for a self love journey and spiritual awakening.

After going through a spiritual awakening, you do not have to become the wisest guru or be perfect to love yourself fully. The goal is to become more accepting of yourself at each moment.

Challenging your belief systems will be necessary if it means: changing your beliefs around value to increase your net worth; Or changing your belief around worth in order to respect oneself.

According to Bruce Lipton’s The Biology of Belief, “we control our lives, by controlling our perceptions.” Here are a few ways to change your belief system to become a better version of yourself:

1. Fall In Love With Learning

You will never be able to know everything in life. And one does not know what they do not know. Bruce H. Lipton says, “Your perspective is always limited by how much you know. Expand your knowledge and you will transform your mind.”

Find time each day to learn something new. What are your habits? Start to question why you do what you do? For example, if you always drink caffeine. Ask your self why? If the answer doesn’t readily become available, research where this habit comes from. Learn how to break a habit or what is the best way to use this habit in your life.

2. Identify Your Beliefs

What are your beliefs? Cover all areas of life. The beliefs you hold about yourself may include:

  • Self Love
  • Health
  • Beauty
  • Sexuality
  • Relationships
  • Money
  • Career
  • Self Worth
  • Self Value
  • Self Image

Then broaden your belief identification into what you believe about the outer world. The beliefs you hold about the world around your may include:

  • Religion
  • Politics
  • Society
  • Community

3. ReWrite Your Beliefs

Write down all of your beliefs from an honest place. As you write down all of your specific beliefs decide which beliefs no longer serve you. To go deeper you may even want to do meditation and journaling work to find out where those beliefs where planted. Many of the beliefs were passed down to you through your DNA.

When you find beliefs that no longer serve you: write down the opposite of this belief. Next, create an affirmation to support the new belief you have just made. This is a journey and you can do it!
